Let’s continue to know more about the characters that make up the Kousoku Sentai Turboranger series.
Dr. Dazai was contacted by the Fairy Seelon wherein they would start working on the Turborangers power suits. Dr. Dazai had a fascination for the racing cars which is why he based the suits on them. Dr. Dazai is your typical scientist mentor as he aids the team in growing since they were still very young. Dr. Dazai is also in love with the team’s homeroom teacher Ms. Yamaguchi Misa. Unfortunately Misa hates Dr. Dazai because she thinks he’s being a bad influence to the 5 high school students making up the team. She eventually finds out the truth but Dr. Dazai’s love is still unrequited.
Seelon is one if not the last surviving Fairy in the world. She detects that the seal to the Boma Tribe is getting weak. She instantly contacts Dr. Dazai to inform him of the incoming danger. She then gives him some magical assistance as Dr. Dazai begins to create the Turboranger suits inspired by racing cars. Fairy Seelon manages to help form the team in time of the Boma Tribe’s uprising. Seelon is only about 8 centimeters tall and only Dr. Dazai can see him or at least one of the few. The Turborangers have to wear special goggles made by Dr. Dazai just so that they could see her. Despite her small stature she is brave enough to fight others and help the team. She even has the ability Shine of the Soul which confuses the enemy for a small period but takes a toll on her life.
We’ll now proceed to know about the Boma Tribe who are the antagonists of the series. Their full name is the Boma Hundred Tribes and as their name suggests they are made up of a hundred tribes. They make up the Boma Tribe as they are a group of malevolent warriors and followers of dark magic. They lost the conflict to the alliance of Humans and Fairies thousands of years ago but now they’re back atop their base the Boma Castle.
Emperor Lagorn is the supreme ruler of the Boma Tribe. He is shown to be a fierce beast mutant like creature. His appearance alone is menacing and enough to break anyone’s spirit down. His origin is believed to be that he came from one of the tribes and dethroned the previous Emperor. There have been other attempts to take him out of the throne but he managed to thwart all of them. Lagorn is mysteriously bound to his throne as he can’t move out from it and he is as ruthless as any Emperor or leader should be.
