This is our last look into the characters of the Kousoku Sentai Turboranger series.
Boma Doctor Lehda is the second in command of the Boma Tribe. His origin states that he was once a prominent figure in one of the hundred tribes before rising to power in a sense. Lehda is like a mad scientist incarnated desiring the dark side of science. He also does his job well as the field commander and scientist of the Boma Tribe. Lehda is sneaky and cunning but is devoted to the Emperor Lagorn. Lehda does not hesitate to use his minions for the sake of his experiments.
Jinba was once a noble samurai during his human life who also fell in love with a princess. He fought numerous battles just to impress her and obtain her love which would not be. He was later appalled at how the princess detested his appearance. He died and later reincarnated as Jinba one of the strongest warriors of the Boma Tribe. He is strong and fast with a hate for human love and emotions. This is why he is so relentless and loves human suffering as much as anything in the world. He does have somewhat a soft spot Princess Jamin whom he denies falling in love with
Princess Jamin is a princess from one of the hundred tribes although not stated. She detested the fact that she was force into war at a young age but became proficient at it. Jamin is a cold hearted woman using deceptive tricks against her opponents and even against her allies. She would fool other members of the Boma Tribe to fight and die for her. She would also transform into a snake woman if needed especially if her opponents tend to overpower her. She was nearly killed by Emperor Lagorn but was saved by Jinba in the process.
Zulten was Princess Jamin’s personal monster slave so to speak. Zulten didn’t hold any sort of rank as he was simply a lackey to Jamin. Zulten had the ability to morph himself making him like a transport carrier for Jamin in the long run. Zulten was a bit of a coward as well who tends to hide in the background whenever the fight would happen. He seldom helped Jamin in the frontlines. He was always the first one to run away during a confrontation. Ironically he was one of the last monsters to die because of his cowardice.
They are the grunts for this series and they have a mini backstory. They actually belonged to the Wular Tribe one of the hundred tribes. They are black skinned and white toned fighters doing the legwork for the Boma Tribe. Just like their predecessors they are expendable but decent enough fighters to say the least.
That concludes our look into the Turboranger series and we’ll take a look at its follow up named Chikyu Sentai Liveman.
